- 1Create a canvas. One active canvas per wallet — finish or cancel it before opening a new one.
- 2Paint freely in the editor. No gas per pixel. Drag to paint, use the 256-color palette.
- 3Save to chain. Your edits are sent in batches of up to 500 pixels per transaction automatically.
- 4Mint. For formats up to 64×64: one transaction. For 96×96 and 128×128: first Prepare Mint (compresses data), then Mint NFT. The frontend guides you through both steps automatically.
- 5Sell. Your canvas NFT is freely transferable and can be listed on the PepuArt Auction House.

256-color palette. Index 0 is always the background (dark or light — you choose when creating the canvas). It never counts as a painted pixel. Indices 1 and 2 are solid black and solid white — they do count.
The whole community paints one canvas together over the course of a month.
When the month ends, the canvas is minted as a single NFT and the entire auction proceeds are burned forever.

The full 128×128 canvas is minted as one NFT. If it goes to auction, 100% of the final bid
goes to the dead address 0x000...dEaD — permanently and irreversibly.
Nothing goes to the team. Everything burns.
- BidAll bids are in PEPU. Minimum 1M $ART to bid. Fallen wallets cannot bid.
- EscrowYour NFT enters smart contract escrow the moment you create the listing. Nobody — including the team — can access it during the auction.
- Anti-snipeA bid placed in the last 10 minutes extends the auction by 15 minutes. This continues until no new bids arrive for 15 minutes.
- CancelYou can cancel your listing only if there are zero bids. Once someone bids, the auction is final.
- WithdrawLosing bidders can withdraw their PEPU at any time after being outbid.
